Teresa Botelho has a PH.D. from Cambridge University and is Associate Professor at The Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Nova University of Lisbon, where she teaches American Studies. She is President of the Portuguese Association of Anglo-American Studies and member of the research group : Mapping Dreams: British and American Utopianism (CETAPS). She has published extensively on African American, and Asian American culture and literature, theater and drama. Her current interests include technological utopias\/dystopias and the post-human, science fiction,post-black literature, identity theory in its intersections with utopia, visual culture and cinema, the collaboration between sciences and literature, especially in drama, and literary and visual representations of 9\/11.<\/p>\n
