Raquel Silva – Consultant, researcher and lecturer in Terminology and related fields.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

PhD in Linguistics (2014) in the areas of Lexicology and Terminology at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (FCSH UNL).<\/p>\n

– Researcher in the Linguistic Centre of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (CLUNL), since 1993.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Invited lecturer for the Master in <\/span>Terminology and Management of Information for Special Purposes <\/span>at FCSH \/ Universidade Nova de Lisboa.<\/span><\/p>\n

– She participates in several research projects leading to the design and creation of terminological resources by developing and implementing work methodologies in Terminology. She is currently participating in a terminology project for the development of public administration in Angola- TERMAP-AO (2014-2019). <\/span><\/p>\n

– She develops working methodologies on quality management in the areas of translation and terminology.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Invited lecturer for the Master in Terminology and Management of Information for Special Purposes at the FCSH UNL, since 2006, where she has guided Master\\’s dissertations (3 defended, 1 ongoing), co-guided PhD (1 ongoing) and integrated juries in Master and PhD.<\/p>\n

– She provides terminology management services and linguistic consulting in the private sector, in the area of <\/span>\u200b\u200b<\/span>Translation and Localization, since 2005.<\/span><\/p>\n
