From Legacy to the Challenge of Innovation: 50 Years of the Centre for Linguistics of the University of Porto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2026, the Centre for Linguistics of the University of Porto (CLUP) will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, CLUP is organising the international conference CLUP\u201926 – From Legacy to the Challenge of Innovation: 50 Years of the Centre for Linguistics of the University of Porto<\/strong>, which will take place on the 9th<\/sup> and 10th<\/sup> of November 2026 as an on-site event at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (FLUP), Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This conference aims to provide an opportunity to reflect on CLUP\u2019s academic path since its foundation, as well as to discuss current and future challenges in linguistic research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Researchers, lecturers and students from all academic levels and research fields working in the thematic areas of the conference are invited to submit proposals to present their investigations. Proposals that engage with \u2014 though not exclusively \u2014 CLUP\u2019s core research areas will be particularly welcome::<\/p>\n\n\n\n
