This seminar will concern the interpretations of numerical NPs like “two wines” and their relation to full pseudo-partitives like “two glasses of wine”.
The puzzles posed by the interpretations of NPs like “two wines” in English will be explained from the point of view of some current approaches to the count\/mass distinction, and an outline of a new analysis will be presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
