Joana Caetano completed her Master’s Degree in Anglo-American Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP), with a dissertation on Eschatology and Utopian Thinking during the Cromwellian Period. As a current member of the Centre for English, Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies (CETAPS), she has been doing research in the fields of British Literature and Culture, with special focus on Utopian Studies and more recently on Food Studies and Sensory Studies.
She has published a few articles in the fields of her interest, presented several papers at national and international conferences and co-edited an issue of Spaces of Utopia: An Electronic Journal (Series II, Number 2 – 2013).
