Registration Fees
Participation:
- Oral presentation fee – EUR 125 (includes attendance)
- Oral presentation for ICOM and APOM members – EUR 100 (includes attendance)
- Oral presentation for students – EUR 50 (does not include attendance)
- Video fee + extended abstracts – EUR 75 (does not include attendance)
- Video fee + extended abstracts for ICOM and APOM members – EUR 60 (does not include attendance)
- Video fee + extended abstracts for students – EUR 30 (does not include attendance)
- Poster fee + extended abstracts – EUR 25 (does not include attendance)
- Poster fee + extended abstracts for students – EUR 25 (does not include attendance)
Attendance:
- General fee – EUR 60
- Associated members (ICOM; APOM) – EUR 40
- Student fee – EUR 25
For proposals with more than one author, fees apply individually.
Registration deadline for participants with onsite presentations / extended abstracts / short videos / posters: September 5 2023 (midnight GMT)
Late registrations for attendants from 30 September until 12 October 2023 will be charged an increased fee of 25%.

ICAMT Travel Grants 2023
ICAMT (International Committee of Architecture and Museum Techniques) announces a call for candidates from all continents to apply for ICAMT’s Member Travel Grant 2023.
The grant is to encourage ICAMT members to participate in our international conference, which will take place in Porto (PT) from 25-27 October 2023.
A grant of € 500 each will be offered to three (3) members to provide assistance with airfare (in the most reasonable level of Economy Class), accommodation for the duration of the conference and registration fees. Insurance coverage, local transportation, meals and other expenses related to the member’s participation will not be covered by the grant in any circumstances.
We will accept applications from all members of ICAMT, but in equal merit, priority will be given to members aged 40 and younger.
Applicants are required to comply with the eligibility criteria stated in this call.
Requirements:
- Be an individual ICOM and ICAMT member for at least 18 months before grant application.
- Work in a museum (or in the museum field) for at least two years at the grant application date.
- Be able to write and understand spoken English fluently and speak English conversationally.
- Be up-to-date with ICOM membership for 2022 and 2023.
- Is aware that members who have received grants in the last three years will not be given priority for a grant in 2023.
In awarding grants, priority will be given to the applicants:
- Who shows a good understanding of the benefits to be derived from attending the ICAMT conference;
- Who come from countries belonging to Categories 4, 3 and 2;
- Who may obtain other funding sources to facilitate their attendance at the Meeting;
- Who is aged 40 and younger.
A necessary obligation and condition:
Each grantee must submit a report within two weeks following the Meeting stating his/her experience and contribution to ICOM and ICAMT’s activities.
PLEASE NOTE that ICAMT may publish the report and images sent (entirely or partly) on its website and social media channels.
Each grant amount (€ 500) will be transferred to the selected members ONLY:
1 – After his/her onsite participation;
2 – After submitting the report to ICAMT and its approval.
An application must include:
- A copy of ICOM membership card and number
- Contact details and affiliation
- A 200-word statement of the applicant’s motivation for attending the conference and the benefits he/she expects to derive from it.
- The applicant’s curriculum vitae indicating training, work experience, publications, and current work responsibilities within his/her institution (maximum one page).
- A letter of recommendation.
