elingUP, the Electronic Journal of Linguistics of the Students of the University of Porto, is organising the 1st edition of elingUP Preview at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (Meeting Room 1) on October 16th, 2023.
elingUP Preview consists of the presentations of papers from the most diverse areas of Linguistics that will be published in issues of the elingUP Journal.
The first edition of elingUP Preview features oral presentations of papers already published in issues 1 and 2 of 2022, which focus mainly on Semantics and Discourse Analysis.
The event will also include a roundtable with Dr. Joana Teixeira (Assistant Professor at NOVA FCSH), Carlos Silva (Visiting Assistant Professor at FLUP, researcher at CLUP and former member of the elingUP journal) and João de Matos (Professor of PLE, PhD student at NOVA FCSH and member of CLUNL’s Young Researchers Group).
