The Centre for Linguistics of the University of Porto is pleased to announce that, in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, the University of Porto is one of the best universities in the world in 31 of the 55 areas of study evaluated.
At the national level, the U.Porto is the best higher education institution (alone or with other institutions) in 15 areas of study, including Linguistics. In this study area, U.Porto is ranked between the 201st and 250th best in the world.
It is with great satisfaction that we see our research at CLUP contributed to the important result achieved by the U.Porto in this prestigious ranking, contributing as well to the excellence and international projection of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the enhancement of the area of Social Sciences and Humanities.
