A Revista elingUP tem o prazer de anunciar a publicação do segundo número de 2023 (https://ojs.letras.up.pt/index.php/elingUP/issue/view/896), onde se divulga trabalho de investigação desenvolvido por estudantes de Linguística da Universidade do Porto (Portugal) e da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (Brasil).
Para este número, a Equipa Editorial da elingUP entrevistou a Professora Doutora Gerda Haßler aquando da sua visita à Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto para a conferência “The concept of evidentiality and its application to Romance”, no dia 27 de novembro de 2023, oportunidade que muito nos honrou.
Além desta entrevista, este número conta com quatro artigos nas áreas da Pragmática e Análise do Discurso e, ainda, na interface da Sintaxe e Tradução.
Com esta publicação, esperamos continuar a despertar o interesse de todos os leitores e a incentivar a investigação em Ciências da Linguagem.

elingUP is pleased to announce the publication of the second issue of 2023 (https://ojs.letras.up.pt/index.php/elingUP/issue/view/896), which publicises the research work developed by Linguistics students from the University of Porto and Uberlândia Federal University (Brazil).
For this issue, the Editorial Team of elingUP interviewed Professor Gerda Haßler during her visit to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto for the conference “The concept of evidentiality and its application to Romance”, which took place on 27th November 2023, an opportunity that greatly honoured us.
In addition to this interview, this issue features four articles on Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis and the interface of Syntax and Translation.
With this publication, we hope to continue to spark interest in research in language sciences among all readers.
